CHAPTER 473.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the Treas-
urer of the State Board of Education the amount of sundry
bills paid by him for repairs to the Normal School Building.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer of Maryland to pay to the Treasurer of the State
Board of Education the sum of forty-five hundred and four

dollars and eighty-six cents, being the amount of sundry bills
paid by him under the direction of the State Board of Educa-
tion for materials furnished and work done in repairing the
Maryland State Normal School Building in the years 1898,
1899 and 1900 to the following persons and firms, viz: To
Vaile & Young, the sum of one hundred and seventeen dol-
lars and eighty-five cents; Thos. S. Waters, Jr., the sum of
fifty-six dollars and eighty cents; L. Lewis & Co., the sum
of forty-one dollars and ten cents; S. M. Koch, the sum of
fifty-seven dollars and fifty-six cents; Thos. C. Basshor &
Co., the sum of thirteen hundred and thirty-one dollars and
fifty-seven cents; Louis R. Christhelf, the sum of two hun-
dred and seventeen dollars and forty-nine cents; C. J. Stewart
& Sons, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars and fifty
cents; Geo. W. Walther & Co., the sum of thirty-nine dollars
and fifty-six cents; Geo. Schumacher, the sum of eighty-two
dollars and forty-six cents; to J. L. McCrea, the sum of
eleven hundred and nineteen dollars and forty-three cents; J.
W. Pugsley, the sum of nine hundred and eighty-two dollars
and eighty -one cents; Louis A. Dieter, the sum of nineteen
dollars and seventy-five cents; H. T. Gernhardt, the sum of
eleven dollars; Thomas H. Garland, the sum of fifty -nine dol-
lars and eighty -one cents; John Wonder, the sum of eighty-
one dollars and seventy cents, and to Crook, Horner & Co.,
the sum of one hundred and thirty-five dollars and forty-
seven cents.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 7, 1900.

AN ACT to repeal Section thirty-one of Article 3 of the
Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," sub-title
"County Commissioners," as enacted by Chapter two hun-
