to limit the power of the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more to enact ordinances and regulations, not inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act, for the inspection and sale of
milk or the products thereof in the City of Baltimore.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTTER 460.
AN ACT to prevent persons from using the sidewalks, pave-
ments or alleys of the First and Third Precincts of the
Fifth Election District of Anne Arundel County for bicycle
riding, and to require persons riding bicycles in said pre-
cincts between a half hour after sunset and a half hour
before sunrise to have upon their bicycle a bell and lighted
lantern.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That after the passage of this Act no persons or persons
shall use any of the sidewalks, pavements and alleys of the
First and Third Election Precincts of the Fifth Election Dis-
trict of Anne Arundel County for bicycle riding, any and all
persons offending against this section shall be subject to a fine
of not less than one dollar nor more than ten dollars, said fine
or fines to be recovered before the justice of the peace of said
precincts as other fines are recovered.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That no person or persons shall
use any of the streets, lanes or roads of the First and Third
Precincts of the Fifth Election District of Anne Arundel
County for bicyle riding between a half hour after sunset
and a half hour before sunrise without having attached to
their bicycle a bell and a lighted lantern, to be placed in
front of the front fork; nor at any time shall said streets,
roads or lanes be used for any bicycle riding without said
bicycle having a bell. Any and all persons offending against
this section shall be subject to a fine of not less than one
dollar nor more than ten dollars, said fine or fines to be recov-
ered before the justice of the peace of said precincts as
other fines are recovered.
