CHAPTER 401.
AN ACT to ratify and confirm the gift to the Convention of
the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Easton
of a gift from George R. Goldsborough and Eleanor A.
Goldsborough of two thousand dollars in trust for certain
purposes; and a gift from Rev. Charles H. Vandyne to said
Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the
Diocese of Easton, for the Clergy Relief Fund, of one
thousand dollars, on certain conditions.

SECTION i . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the gift heretofore made by George R. Golds-
borough and Eleanor A. Goldsborough of two thousand
dollars ($2,000) to the Protestant Episcopal Church in the
Diocese of Easton, in trust, to be known as the "Mary C.
Goldsborough Trust Fund , " to be held in trust and the income
thereof paid to the rector of All Saints parish, who shall apply
the same, two-thirds to his own personal use, and one-third to
such cases of distress and want among the poor and sick in
said parish as in his judgment are worthy of aid, said gift
being contained in a deed from said George R. Goldsborough
and Eleanor A. Goldsborough to the Convention of the Prot-
estant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Easton, dated June
19, 1899.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the gift from the Rev.
Charles H. Vandyne to the Convention of the Protestant
Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Easton of one thousand
dollars ($1,000), in trust, to apply the interest and income
thereof during the lifetime of the said grantor to his proper
use and benefit, and after the death of said Vandyne to apply
the same to the use of the Clergy Relief Fund of said diocese,
said gift being dated June 23rd, 1898, which said gift was
accepted by said Board of Trustees of the Clergy Relief Fund
on the 29th day of June, 1898.

CHAPTER 402.
AN ACT to refund to Alfred Ijams, Anne Arundel County,
the sum of nine dollars and fifty cents ($9.50), amount of
tax paid by. him on his commission as Judge of the Orphans'
Court for said county under appointment by the Governor
in the year 1896.
