SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section forty-two of Article 33, of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled "Elections," sub-title "Nomi-
nations," as amended by Chapter two hundred and two of the
Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety -six, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Nominations.

42. Except in cases provided for by Section forty-six, and
cases of special election to fill vacancies in office caused by
death, resignation or otherwise, such certificates of nomina-
tion shall be filed, respectively, with the Secretary of State
not less than twenty-five days, and with the Board of Super-
visors of Elections, not less than ten days, before the clay of
election.
Approved April 7, 1900.

CHAPTER 367.
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 5 of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Appeals and Errors,"
sub-title "Appeals from Courts of Law," to come in after
Section fourteen, and to be Section 14 A of said Article 5
of the Code.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following section be and it is hereby added to
Article 5 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Appeals
and Errors," sub-title "Appeals from Courts of Law," to
come in after Section fourteen, to be Section i4A of said
Article 5:

Sec. I4A. On reversing any judgment or part of a judg-
ment at law where the case is remanded for a new trial the
parties may, by agreement in writing, submit the said case to
the Court of Appeals for final adjudication and judgment
upon the facts set forth in the record, and upon such submis-
sion the Court of Appeals shall have power to pass upon all

questions of fact and of law arising in the said case, and to
give final judgment therein, and to enforce said judgment by
execution .
