do so, but the County Commissioners shall have control
thereof and shall keep the same in proper condition; pro-
vided that the Commissioners of Cambridge shall be entitled
to preserve order and possess police jurisdiction over said
bridge, in all respects as in other parts of said town, and they
shall have full authority to pass ordinances to prevent injury
to said bridge and to regulate thereover, and to provide
against improper driving or riding thereover, and to prevent
interference with the draw, and to said end, to impose penalties
for violations of any ordinance passed by the Commissioners
in regard thereto.

Certain sec-
tions excepted
from repeal.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the sections and sub-
sections hereinafter mentioned (being sections and sub-sections
of Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, under and
belonging to the title "Dorchester County," and to the sub-
title "Cambridge"), be not by this Act repealed, but that such
sections and sub-sections be and that they are hereby saved
and excepted from repeal, to wit:

(1.) Section eighty-three, as amended and re-enacted, and
Section 83 A, as enacted by Chapter four hundred and sixty-
six, of the Acts passed at the January Session', in the year
eighteen hundred and ninety-four.

(2.) Sections eighty-four, eighty-five, eighty-six and eighty-
seven, of Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws afore-
said, as the same were embraced therein at the January Session,
in the year eighteen hundred and eighty-eight.

(3.) Sections one and two, of Chapter twenty-eight, enacted
by the General Assembly at the January Session, in the year
eighteen hundred and ninety-four.

(4.) Sections one and two, of Chapter five hundred and six,
enacted by the General Assembly at the January Session, in
the year eighteen hundred and ninety-four.

(5.) Sub-sections A and B to Section eighty-one, as enacted
by Chapter five hundred and thirty-eight, at the January
Session, in the year eighteen hnndred and ninety-four; pro-
vided, that Section eighty-one is not excepted from repeal,
but is repealed, leaving said sub-section to stand independent
of said section, as hereinafter mentioned.

(6.) Sub-section one, as enacted by Section three, of Chapter
four hundred and eighty, of the Acts passed at the January
Session, in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-eight.
