Powers and
Privileges.

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of said corporation be and the same is
hereby changed from ' 'The McClenahan and Brother Granite
Company of Cecil County" to "McClenahan Granite Com-
pany," and by that name the corporation shall have and
exercise all the powers, rights, privileges and functions which
were heretofore conferred upon or possessed by said corpora-
tion under and by its former name, and all obligations held by
and properly vested in said corporation under its former name
shall be enforceable by and vested in it under its new name;
and all conveyances made by or to said corporation and all
other acts of every nature and kind done by said corporation
in the exercise of its corporate powers and functions under its
former name shall have the same force and effect as if done
under the name "McClanahan Granite Company," and all
liabilities incurred and all obligations assumed by the said
corporation shall be enforceable against it under its new name.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of May, in the year nineteen hundred.

CHAPTER 55.
AN ACT to extend an Act entitled an "Act to incorporate the
New York Mining Company," passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-four, Chapter two hundred and
twenty, and the supplement thereto, passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and forty-six, Chap ter one hundred
and twenty-three, and the Act to alter and amend the said
original Act of incorporation and supplements thereto passed
at January session, eighteen hundred and fifty-three, Chapter
seventy; and the Act to alter, amend and extend the said
original Act of incorporation and supplements thereto, passed
at January session, eighteen hundred and seventy-four,
Chapter one hundred and ten, for the period of thirty years.
