SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said Mayor and Common
Council of Westminster shall cause to be kept and preserved
a careful register of the bonds so called in, which they are
hereby directed to cancel immediately, and a careful register
of the bonds issued under this Act, specifying the number of
each bond, its denomination, its date of issue, the date of its
maturity, and the person to whom it is issued.

Authority to
make levy to
pay interest on
bonds.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said Mayor and Common
Council of Westminster are hereby authorized, empowered
and required in each and every year to levy and collect a
special tax not exceeding ten cents on every one hundred
dollars' worth of the taxable property of all kinds and descrip-
tion, liable to assessment and taxation within the corporation
limits of the City of Westminster, to pay the interest on the
outstanding bonds by them issued under the provisions of
this Act, as the same shall fall due, and to gradually redeem
and retire such bonds until they shall have all been redeemed
and retired; that the proceeds of such tax shall be paid to
the Mayor and Common Council, and forthwith by them
applied to the redemption of said bonds when and as soon as
they shall become redeemable; and the said taxes are inviol-
ably pledged to the payment of the interest and principal of
said bonds.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Section forty-one and the sections there-
after to Section eighty-three (but exclusive of Section
eighty-three) of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Cambridge,"
together with all other sections and sub-sections tinder and
belonging to said sub-title "Cambridge," (whether said sec-
tions and sub-sections are embraced in the Code of Public
Local Laws, as enacted by the General Assembly at the
January Session, in the year eighteen hundred and eighty-
eight, or whether they have been passed since the January
Session of said year), saving and excepting the sections
and sub-sections of said sub-title "Cambridge," which are
in this Act specifically saved and excepted from repeal, and
