Appropriation.
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That for the purpose of pur-
chasing said lot of land and paying the cost of erecting said
building, the heating and furnishing of the same, the sum of
two hundred and ninety thousand dollars, or so much thereof
as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of the loan
issue for the purpose, and known as the State Building and
Improvement Loan.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That upon the completion and
occupancy of the said building by the said several depart-
ments of the State government, as contemplated in this Act,
the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized, if in its
judgment it shall be deemed proper to have torn down and
removed from the State House hill the building known as
the Comptroller's Office, which is now occupied by the Comp-
troller's Office, Land Commissioner's Office, Tax Commis-
sioner's Office, and for other purposes.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same
are hereby repealed, and this Act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

CHAPTER 327.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Sub-section 210L, of Article
20, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-
land, title "Somerset County," sub-title "Princess Anne, "
as amended by Sub-section 210L, of the Acts of eighteen
hundred and ninety-four, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section 210L, of Article 20, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Somerset County,"
sub-title "Princess Anne," as amended by Sub-section 210L,
of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety -four, be repealed
and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:

Section 210L. And be it enacted, That the County Commis-
sioners of Somerset County shall authorize and direct the
treasurer of said county to pay on the first day of January in
each and every year, after the passage of this Act, to the
president and Commissioners of Princess Anne the sum of
eight hundred dollars, and no more, for the purpose of repair-
ing and improving the streets and roads within the corporate
limits of the town of Princess Anne.
