CHAPTER 35.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
two of Chapter thirty-six of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, passed at the January Session, eighteen
hundred and ninety-eight, relating to the creation of a new
election district in Garrett County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section two of Chapter thirty -six of the Acts of the
General Assembty of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, relating to the creation
of anew election district in Garrett County, known as District
Number Thirteen, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows:

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the boundary lines of said
Election District Number Thirteen, Garrett County, shall be
as follows, to wit: Beginning for the same at the mouth of
Three Forks Run at Chaffee, where it empties into the Poto-
mac River, and running thence with said run in a westerly
direction up the south prong of said run, where the Mud
Bridge crosses said branch on the Wilson & Kitzmiller County
Road, and thence with said road to the top of Back Bone
Mountain to intersect the second line of said district, as desig-
nated and set forth under the Act of eighteen hundred and
ninety-eight, Chapter thirty-six, and thence with the lines, as
set forth in the aforesaid Act of Assembly tu the place of
beginning.

SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 36.
AN ACT to enlarge and confirm the powers and authority of
Mt. St. Joseph's College of Baltimore County, incorporated
under the general provisions of the 26th Article of the Code
by the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, under the cor-
porate name of St. Joseph's College of Baltimore County,
and which is on record in the clerk's office of said court of
date October 6, 1876, and recorded in Liber J. B., No. i,
folio 130, etc., one of the incorporation records of Balti-
more County, and also an amended incorporation under the
general provisions of the Code by said court, by which
