the peace for gunning therein without such license shall be
fined fifty dollars for each offense, and in default of payment
of such fine and the costs shall be committed to the county
jail for one month; and for the purpose of the strict enforce-
ment of the aforesaid provision of this and the next preceding
section the sheriff, deputy sheriffs, constables and road super-
visors in said county are hereby clothed with the powers con-
ferred on game wardens and deputy game wardens by the
general laws of this State, and shall receive similar remunera-
tion. The licensees under this section shall always, when
hunting, carry their licenses with them, and shall present
them to any of the aforegoing officers, when demanded by
them, and upon failure to produce such license, the said
officers shall immediately arrest such party, and take him
before the nearest justice of the peace for trial.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 190.
AN ACT to repeal Sections three and six of Chapter two
hundred and ninety-eight of the Acts of eighteen hundred
and ninety, entitled an "Act to build and establish a free
bridge over Tuckahoe River, formerly Tuckahoe Creek, at
or near Horsey's Landing, in Caroline County, and to
provide for free travel between Caroline and Talbot Coun-
ties and to re-enact the same with amendments."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections three and six of Chapter two hundred
and ninety-eight of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety,
