real, personal or mixed, had heretofore been limited and
conveyed for the benefit of creditors, or to be sold for any
other purpose, and who gave bond with but one surety, shall
be and the same are hereby made valid and effective to pass
title and valid to all intents and purposes as if the said bond
given by the said trustee or trustees had had two sureties or
more thereon, as required by Section two hundred and five of
Article 16 of the Maryland Code of Public General Laws;
provided, that such trustee or trustees has or have complied
with all the other requirements of law, and such sales, deeds,
demises and other instruments of writing are in conformity
with the laws; and provided further, that nothing in this Act
shall affect the interest of bona fide purchasers and incum-
brancers without notice, and creditors who may have become
such prior to the passage of this Act; provided, nevertheless,
that nothing in this Act shall operate to divert any lien or
claim upon property passing under such trustee's deed, which
may now exist, or which may hereafter arise, for the benefit
and protection of any cestui-que-trust, where the purchase
money may not have been properly applied.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 124.

AN ACT to authorize the Baltimore Country Club, of Balti-
more City, to take out a license to sell liquors to its mem-
bers under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of eighteen
hundred and ninety, Chapter three hundred and thirty-four.

Made valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary,
land, That the Baltimore Country Club, of Baltimore City, be
and it is hereby authorized to take out, and the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Baltimore County be and he is hereby
authorized to grant under the provisions of the Act of
Assembly of eighteen hundred and ninety, Chapter three
hundred and thirty-four, a license to said corporation to sell
liquors to its members.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
