Be it resolved by the Genera/ Assembly of Maryland, That
our Senators and members of the House of Representatives
be requested to use their influence to have the Grout, bill,
which places a tax of ten cents per pound on all oleomarga-
rine or any bogus butter, and the Richardson bill, that places
the sale of all bogus butter under police regulations of the
various States, and to favor any legislation that will prevent
any oleomargarine or bogus butter selling as cow butter.

Joint Resolution extending the term of service of Honorable
James Revell as Associate Judge of the Fifth Judicial Cir-
cuit of Maryland until the expiration of the period of
fifteen years for which he was elected.

WHEREAS, The Honorable James Revell, of Anne Arundel
County, now Associate Judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit of
Maryland, was elected to that position on the first Tuesday
next following the first Monday of November, in the year
eighteen hundred and ninety-three, for the term of fifteen
years, from the time of his election and until his successor
should be elected and qualified, or until he should attain the
age of seventy years; and
WHEREAS, Before the end of his said term of fifteen years,
and before the next regular session of the General Assembly
he will have attained the age of seventy years; therefore
be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That in
view of his ability, integrity, wisdom, experience and sound
legal knowledge, the said Honorable James Revell be and he
is hereby continued in the office of Associate Judge of the
Fifth Judicial Circuit of Maryland for the remainder of the
term for which he was so elected, and until his successor shall
be elected and qualified.
