a bond of conveyance from J. Henry Judik and Lillie A. Judik,
his wife, and Robert M. Jones and Mary A. Jones, his wife,
dated the ———— day of June, eighteen hundred and ninety-
seven, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore
City, in Liber R. O. No. 1688, folio 363, etc., to the "Rem-
ington Methodist Protestant Church of Baltimore City," now,
by amendment to its charter, called "The Keen Memorial
Methodist Protestant Church of Baltimore City," a body cor-
porate, duly incorporated, and to a deed in fee simple, convey-
ing said lot from J. Henry Judik and Lillie A. Judik, his wife,
and Robert M. Jones and Mary A. Jones, his wife, or their
heirs and assigns, to the said "The Keen Memorial Methodist
Protestant Church of Baltimore City," and to the holding of
said lot by said corporation in fee simple, with full power to
sell, lease, mortgage or in any other way dispose of the same.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 735.
AN ACT to refund to Benjamin F. Middleton, late collector
of State taxes for Allegany County, a certain sum of money
erroneously paid by him into the State Treasury.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasury in favor of Benjamin F. Middleton, late collector of
State Taxes for the First District of Allegany County, for the
sum of ten dollars and twenty-six cents ($10.26), being the
amount overpaid by the said Benjamin F. Middleton into the
Treasury as collector aforesaid, for the year eighteen hundred
and ninety-seven, as certified by the Comptroller and Treas-
urer, the refunding thereof having received the recommenda-
tion of said officers.
SEC. 2, And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
