CHAPTER 733.
AN ACT to regulate the salaries of the Mayor and Council-
men and fees in criminal cases of the town of Frostburg.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor of the town of Frostburg shall be paid a
salary of one hundred and fifty dollars per year; that the Coun-
cilmen of said town shall receive two dollars and fifty cents
per meeting, and for committee work the Mayor and Council-
men shall receive two dollars and fifty cents per day. The
bailiff and night police shall collect the following fees and
turn them over to the Mayor and Councilmen, with nil fines
imposed for the violation of the ordinances of the Mayor and
Councilmen: For an arrest, seventy-five cents; for serving
summons on witnesses, twenty cents each; for locking up a
prisoner under a commitment, fifty cents; the bailiff shall be
allowed one dollar and fifty cents for the taking of prisoners
to the county jail for expenses, and shall be allowed fifteen
cents per meal for the feeding of prisoners, for which he shall
give them a fair and reasonable meal.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That all Acts and parts of Acts con-
flicting with this Act are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 734.
AN ACT to grant and declare the sanction and consent of
the General Assembly of Maryland to a sale and convey-
ance by J. Henry Judik and Lillie A. Judik, his wife, and
Robert M. Jones and Mary A. Jones, his wife, their heirs
or assigns, to the Keen Memorial Methodist Protestant
Church of Baltimore City of certain lot of ground in Balti-
more City, and to the holding of said lot by the said The
Keen Memorial Methodist Church of Baltimore City in fee
simple, with full power to dispose of the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the sale and grant of a lot of ground situate in Bal-
timore City and State of Maryland, particularly described in

Frostburg.
