application therefor on the recommendation of ten reputable
taxpayers, advertisement of same in newspapers, etc., as re-
quired in case of an original application for such license, and
if no objections are interposed in the manner set forth in an

original application, then the said Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Baltimore County shall endorse the transfer upon the
license, and shall be entitled to receive a fee of fifty cents
therefor, and the same shall then take effect; but should there
be an objection filed to the transfer or assignment of said
license, then the same proceedings shall be had before a judge
of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County as in case of objec-
tions to an original application, and the costs of the same to
be taxed in the same manner.

Sec. 21B. And be it enacted, That should any license, after
the same has been granted, be destroyed by fire or otherwise
the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, upon
due application made to him by the licensee, shall issue a
duplicate license to said licensee without further charge or
cost, except fifty cents to said clerk.

Sec. 21C. And be it enacted, That in case the licensee dies,
his widow, executor or administrator may carry on the busi-
ness under the license until its expiration.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from thedate of its passage.

CHAPTER 703.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the sale and grant and deed by
Emily M. Jenkins and Charles Taylor Jenkins, her husband,
to the Vestry of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels,
a religious corporation, to and for the use and benefit of
said corporation, as hereinafter named.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the grant and sale and deed to and for the use of
the said religious corporation, that is to say, to the grant and
sale and deed to the Vestry of the Church of St. Michael and
All Angels, a body corporate, duly incorporated under the
laws of the State, from Emily M. Jenkins and Charles Taylor
