CHAPTER 702.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
ten of Chapter three hundred and thirty-four, of the Acts
of eighteen hundred and ninety, and add three new sec-
tions to Chapter three hundred and thirty-four of the Acts
of eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an "Act to regu-
late the sale and granting of license for the sale of spirituous
and fermented liquors in Baltimore County," to come in
after Section twenty-one, and to be designated as Sections
21A, 21B and 21C, respectively.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section ten of Chapter three hundred and thirty-
four of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted as follows, and three addi-
tional sections are hereby added to Chapter three hundred
and thirty-four of the Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety,
entitled an "Act to regulate the sale and the granting of
license for the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in Bal-
timore County," to follow Section twenty -one of said Acts of
eighteen hundred and ninety, Chapter three hundred and
thirty-four, and to be designated as Sections 21A, 21B and 21C,
as hereinafter set forth.

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That no person having a license
under the provisions of this Act shall sell or give away any
spirituous or fermented liquors on the Sabbath day commonly
called Sunday, or upon any day on which elections are now
or may hereafter be held, nor shall he sell or give away any
spirituous or fermented liquors to any minor, nor shall he
knowingly sell or give away any spirituous or fermented
liquors to any drunkard, nor shall he sell or give any spiritu-
ous or fermented liquors to any person whose parents, guar-
dian, husband or wife shall have given such licensee notice,
in writing, under oath, that such person is of intemperate
habits, nor shall he sell or give away any spirituous or fer-
mented liquors at his place of business between the hours of
twelve o'clock midnight and five o'clock A.M. at any time.

Sec. 21. And be it enacted, That any holder of license to
sell spirituous or fermented liquors at retail, by the drink or
otherwise, may be permitted to sell or assign said license to
another person to be used at the same place or another place
of business in said county; provided, the said purchaser or
assignee or intended purchaser or assignee shall make due
