debt, contracts and all other personal property, and advance
money thereon on such terms as may be established or
approved by said bank; that in all cases in which public offi-
cers or municipal or private corporations are authorized to
deposit money, stocks, bonds or other evidences of debt, such
deposit by such officer or corporation may be made with said
bank.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the stockholders of
said company shall be liable to the amount of their respective
share or shares of stock in said company for all its debts and
liabilities upon note, bill or otherwise.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 696.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 114, 115 and 116 of Article 21 of
the Code of the Public Local Laws, title "Talbot County,"
sub-title "Fish," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, and to add thereto additional sections, sub-title
"Terrapin and Crabs."

Inability of
stockholders.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 114, 115 and 116 of Article 21 of the
Code of the Public Local Laws, title "Talbot County," sub-
title "Fish," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:

114. It shall not be lawful for any person to take, capture
or destroy fish in the waters of Talbot County, except as pro-
vided in the succeeding section.

115. It shall be lawful to catch fish in the waters of the
Miles River and all its tributaries, and in all the tributaries
of the Wye and Great Choptank Rivers lying solely in Talbot
County, with gill nets, hook and line at any time; and to
take and catch with haul seines from the first day of August
to the twentieth day of May following; and it shall be unlaw-
ful to set any net so as it will extend more than one-half the
distance across the river or creek in which it may be set.
And it shall be lawful to catch fish in all other waters of said
county with gill nets, hook and line at any time, and to take
and catch fish with haul seine, drag nets, fish baskets, fish
pots, pound nets and fykes, from the first day of August to
