to manufacture, furnish, sell and use electricity, electric
power and light in Princess Anne, in Somerset County,

and to contract for and furnish electric lights for light-
ing the streets, roads, public or private buildings in said
town, and of any town or city in said county within fifteen
miles of said railroad, and for motive power and other pur-
poses; and said corporation is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to lay, erect, construct, build or purchase and operate
lines of wire, tubes, posts, conductors and conduits along,
under or upon the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, roads or ways
whatsoever in said county or any city or town therein within

if in any town, then the permission of the Town Commission-
ers, when such exist, but the consent of the owner or owners

power to connect the same with any manufactory, public or
private building, or other structure or object, car or convey-

ance, and in general to manufacture, sell furnish and supply
electric light and electric power or stored electricity or elec-
tric machinery and supplies for any and all purposes that may
be desired or required within the limits aforesaid; and the
said corporation shall also have the power to erect, construct,
build and maintain such bridge or bridges over any river or
streams of water in said limits as the directors of said corpor-
ation may deem necessary for the uses and purposes of said
railway, and to use the necessary means to accomplish all the
purposes of said corporation; provided, permission is first
granted by the Board of County Commissioners of said county
to use the roads, streets and other public property proposed
to be taken.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the capital stock of said
corporation shall be two hundred thousand dollars, divided
into four hundred shares of the par value of fifty dollars each;
and the directors of said corporation, for the purpose of com-
pleting and fully equipping the railway hereinbefore men-
tioned, may issue, from time to time, mortgage bonds to the
amount sufficient, in the judgment of said directors, to com-
plete and fully equip said railway not exceeding one hundred
and fifty thousand dollars, and to secure the payment of such
bonds by mortgage of all or any part of the property, rights,
franchises and revenues of said corporation.
