Also, favorably,
Senate bill No. 263, entitled "An Act to amend the
charter of Bethel Cemetery, as incorporated by chapter
516 of the laws of 1849."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also favorably, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill No. 253, entitled "An Act to incorporate
the Anne Aruhdel and Baltimore Electric Railway Com-
pany."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend by adding at the end of section 8,
Provided, however, that said corporations shall, in all
respects, be subject to the provisions of chapter 123 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1898, and all ordi-
nances passed by the Maycr and City Council of Balti-
more, and shall be subject to the control in every respect
of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, in so far as
its operation may be carried on in the city of Baltimore,
and nothing herein contained shall be construed to the
contrary."
