de- Grace to issue bonds to an amount not exceeding
twenty thousand ($20000) dollars, to raise money to ex-
tinguish the floating debt of said city, and to provide
for the submission of the amendments made by this Act
to the charter of said city. to a vote of the people before
the same shall become. operative and for other purpose
set forth in said amended and new sections."
14. Amendment to enacting clause: Strike out all after
the word "numbered” in second line of enacting clause,
and insert in lieu thereof the following, "140, 141, 142,
143, 144, 145, 150, 151., 152, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 163
and 175, of Article 13, of the Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title ‘Harford County,' sub-title ‘Havre-de-Grace,'
(said sections 142, 143, 145, 150, 152, 155, 156, 157, 158
and 159. having been heretofore. repealed and re-enacted
by the Act of 1898, chapter 180,) be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, and
that sections 176 and 177, of said Article and sub-title,
be and the same are hereby repealed and that sections
be and the same are hereby added to said Article, to be
known as ‘Sections 14L A. 15 A, 150 B, 150 C, 150, 152
A, 155 A, 155 B, 157 A, 157 B, 157 C, 158 A, 158 B and
159 A, said amended and new sections to stand to the
following order; and to read as follows

and
The bill was read the second time..
