952 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 26 ORDERS. On motion of Mr. Bouic, it was Ordered, That Fred J. Schroeder, Samuel Brewer, M. 0. Stewart, Joseph Geraci, Geo. W. Siegel, Geo. T. Tydings, Geo. R. Tydings, W. A. Stewart, Harry Welch, and Hugh McLoud he paid the sum of $25 each for extra services on the Journal of Proceedings from January 25th to date. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. On motion of Mr. Rohrback, it was Ordered, That Wm. J. C. Dulaney Co., State Printers, be paid the sum of $20 for printing bills Nos. 134 and 190, local, and No. 30 reprint, said sum to be taken out of the appropriation for printing for this session. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES. Mr. Crothers, from Committee on Finance, reported favorably, Senate bill No. 58, entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay the treasurer of the State Board of Education the amount of sundry bills paid by him for repairs to the State Normal School building." Which was read' the second time and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. Also, favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to establish a commission of State Aid and Charities." Which was read the second time. Also favorably, with proposed amendments, Senate bill No. 161, entitled "An Act to repeal and re- enact with amendments, section 87, of Article 81 of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Revenue and Taxes,' sub-title ‘Payment of Taxes by Corporations,' and also to add two new sections to said Article, the first under the sub-title ‘Valuation and Assessment,' to follow section 2, and to be known as ‘Section 2 A;' and the second under the sub-title ‘Appeals,' to follow section 18 B, and to be know as ‘Section 18 C.'" |
