Amend by striking out from the word "each” on line
3, of section 2, to and including the word "whatsoever”
in line 5, of said section.
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The bill was read a second time.
Also favorably, with proposed amendments,
Senate bill No. 251, entitled "An Act to incorporate
the Montgomery Title Insurance and Trust Company."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

At end of section 1, add the following; "The office of
the company shall be in Montgomery county, MaryIand."
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The bill was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Peter, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges
and amend the charter of the Union Mills Savings Bank,.
of Carroll county, Maryland, so as to enable it to loan
money on or purchase promissory and negotiable notes,
bills obligatory or other evidences of debt."
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Moses, from Committee on Federal Relations, re-
ported favorably,
Joint Resolution of the General Assembly of the State
of Maryland to improve the Severn river and harbor of
Annapolis, Maryland.
Mr. Moses meved that the rules be suspended and said
Joint Resolution be put on its third reading and final
passage.
The rules were suspended (two-thirds of all the Sena-
tors voting in the affirmative), by yeas and nays as fol-
lows:
