flee, the Land Commissioner's office, the Tax Commis-
sioner's office, the Treasurer's office, and for such other
purposes as may be deemed proper; and to appropriate a
sum of money tlierefor, and to provide for the removal
of the building upon State House hill, known as the
Comptroller's office."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend in line 3, of the printed bill, by striking out
‘the word "and” and in line 4, after the words "John
Wirt Randall” and before the word "be” insert the fol-
towing; "and Thomas J. 0. Williams."

Also,
In line 5, of the printed bill, after the word "upon”
and before the word "state” insert the word "either."
Also,
In line 6, of the printed bill, strike out the word "cir
-cle” and insert in lieu thereof the words "Church or
Governor's circles."
Also,
In section 3, line 5 of the printed bill, strike out the
word "circle," and insert in lieu thereof the words
"Church or Governor's circles."
Also,
In section 5, line 3 of printed bill, strike out the words
"three hundred," and insert in lieu thereof the words
"two hundred and ninety."
Also,
In section 5 of the printed bill strike out all after line
7, and insert after line 7 the following words:
"From time to time, as may, in the judgment of the
Board of Public Works, be necessary in the progress of
the work."
Also,
In section 6, line 3 of printed bill, strike out the words
"three hundred," and insert in lieu thereof "two hundred
and ninety."
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted,

The bill was read the secord time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
