Whereas, it is believed that the publication of the Acts
of 1900 in two volumes, one to contain all General Laws
and the other to contain all Local Laws, will be of great
convenience to the public;
Therefore, be it resolved, by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Committee on ‘Printing upon the
part of the Senate and the House be and they are here-
by authorized and empowered to have the Acts of 1900,
printed and published in two separate volumes, to be
designated as ‘Public General Laws,' and ‘Public Local
‘Laws,' respectively,' the Public General Laws to contain
all the general laws and Acts of incorporation, and the
Public Local Laws to contain all the local laws. Each of
which volumes is to be separately indexed.
And be it further resolved, That this resolution shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

Committee on Judicial Proceedings.
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel,
The Senate reconsidered the vote by which
Senate bill No. 142, entitled "An Act to amend ‘sec-
tions 6 B, 6 E and 6 R, of chapter 312, of the Acts of
‘1898, and to re-enact the same, with amendments."
Failed of passage for want of a Constitutional majority.
Mr. Moses moved that the Senate re-consider its action
by which the amendment proposed by the House of
Delegates to
Senate bill No. 5, entitled "An Act to repeal section
461, of Article 4, Public Local Laws, entitled ‘City of
Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Gas Companies,' as amended and
re-enacted by chapter 123, of the Acts of 1898, and re-
enact ‘Lhe same with amendments”
Was adopted.
