1900.] OF THE SENATE 877 Also, favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to provide for fixillg license and penalties f or hucksters, hawkers, peddlers, dealers, brokers or middlemen of unbaled hay, unbaled straw and ear corn by the wagon load in Baltimore city." Which was read the second time. Also, unfavorably, Senate bill No. 248k, entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of money to assist the University of Maryland, the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Baltimore Medical College." Mr Williams, of Anne Arundel, Moved that the bill he substituted for the unfavorable report. Which motion was rejected by yeas and nays as fol- lows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Moses, Brewington, Peter, Bryan, Rohrback, Crothers, Wilkinson—13. Gray, Mr. Brewington moved, That further consideration of said bill be indefinitely postponed. Mr. Putzel moved, That said unfavorable report and motion to postpone, be made the Special Order of the Day for Thursday, March 22nd, at 830 P. M.
