Also, unfavorably, Senate bill No. 109, entitled "An Act providing for the erection and operation of a rock crushing plant, by and under the supervision of the board of directors and the officers of the Maryland House of Correction, and pro- viding for the sale of the crushed stone product to the counties and other municipalities of the State." Which unfavorable report was adopted. Also, unfavorably, Senate bill No. 113, entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of money for the purchase of additional land in Bal- timore county for the use of the Maryland Hospital for the Insane." Which unfavorable report was adopted. Also, unfavorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 679, of the Acts of 1897, chapter 123, entitled ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Miscellaneous Local Laws,' and to re-enact said section with amendments." Mr. Bryan moved to substitute the bill for the unfavor- able report. Pending further consideration of which, On motion of Mr. Crothers, Said report and motion to substitute, were made the Special Order of the Day for Wednesday, March 21st, at 8.30 P. M. Also, unfavorably, Senate bill No. 80, entitled "An Act to provide for the creation of additional and partial scholarships at St. John's College for the aid of needyand deserving, students in Maryland." Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, moved to substitute the bill for the unfavorable report. Pending further consideration of which, On motion of Mr. Crothers, Said report and motion to substitute was made the- Special Order of the Day for Wednesday, March 21st, at 8.40 P. M. |
