AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
By Mr. Putzel,
Amend by striking oat the words "to close streets,"
on line 9 section 5.
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The bill was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill No. 216, entitled "An Act to amend the
charter and extend the powers of the Frederick County
Telephone and Telegraph Company, a corporation formed
under Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, entitled ‘Corporations;' the said charter being
recorded in the Records of Corporations of Frederick
county In Liber No. 2, folio 401, by adding two Articles
to said charter."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also unfavorably,
Senate bill No. 202, entitled "An Act to Incorporate
the United Real Estate Company of Baltimore."
Which report was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Rarford,
Senate reconsidered Its action by which the said un-
favorable report was adopted, and
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Rarford,
Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.
Also, favorably,
Rouse bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enacs with
amendments sectIon 769, of Article 4, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, tititle ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Street
Railway Pares, as amended and re-enacted by chapter
123, of the Acts of 1898”
Which was read the second time.
Also without recommendation,
Senate bill No. 235, entitled "An Act to incorporate
the Union Automobile Company."
