Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 164, of Article 4, of the Public Local Laws of Mary]and, title "City of Baltimore," the subject of said section relating to the imposition of State taxes by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and to provide for the imposition and collection of said taxes by said Mayor and City Council of Baltimore. Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Marsh, Applegarth, Messick, Baker, Moore, Beasman, Moses, Betts, Peter, Bouic, Putzel, Bryan, Rohrback, Crothers. Wilkinson, Dennis, Williams, of Har., Dick, Williams, of A. A., Kirwan, —21. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to thd House of Delegates. Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 3, of chapter 497, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, session of 1898, entitled "An Act to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to build a bridge over Curtis creek, and also to build a bridge over Cabin branch, a tributary of said Curtis creek, and to provide by the issuance of bonds the means of building the same, and making said bridges free for public travel." On motion of Senator Williams, of Anne Arundel, Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Judi- cial Proceedings. Senate bill entitled "An Act supplementary to an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Home for the Aged of Frederick city, passed by the General Assembly of Md., in the year 1892, and known as ‘Chapter 87,' of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of that year." |
