REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Beasman, from Committee on Inspections, reported
favorably,
Senate bill No. 214, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments, sections 11 and 14, of Article 44,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Inspections,'
sub-title ‘Tobacco,' as said sections were repealed and re-
enacted by chapter 314, of the Acts of 1898."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill No. 224, entitled "An Act to amnend the
charter of the United Milk Producers Association of Bal-
timore city, by granting certain additional powers and
privileges so the United Milk Producers' Association of
Baltimore city.'
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third time.
Mr. Crothers, from Committee on Finance, reported
favorably,
Senate bill No. 222, entitled "An Act to add new sec-
tion to Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title ‘License,' to follow section 81 B, and to he desig-
nated as ‘Section 81 C.'
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Pending further consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Moses,
Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Tuesday, March 20th, at 1.30 P. M.
Also, unfavorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to properly care for,
exhibit and preserve the battle flags carried by Maryland
Regiments during the Civil War, 1861-65."
Mr. Williams, of Harford, moved that the bill be sub-
stituted for the unfavorable report.
Pending further consideration of which
On motion of Mr. Crotliers,
Said bill and motion to substitute, were made the
Special Order of the Day for Monday, March 19th, at
8.30 P. M.
