REPORTS OF SELECT. COMMITTEES.
President Hubner, from Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to add an amendment to
chapter 217, of Acts of 1892, Public Local Laws, applying
to Baltimore county."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the division
of the First Election Precinct of the Fourteenth Election
District of Baltimore county into two election precincts,
to he known as ‘Precinct No. 1,' and ‘Precinct No. 3,' re-
spectivel y."
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Rohrback, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize and empower
the County Commissioners of Frederick county to issue
bonds bearing interest at a rate not to exceed three and
one half per centum per annum, to obtain money to redeem
the sixty-five thousand dollars of bonds, bearing interest
at four per centum per annum, issued by said county
commissioners under the Act of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the session of 1884, chapter 494,
and also to redeem the one hundred and twenty-three
thousand and seven hundred dollars of bonds, bearing
interest at four per centum per annum, issued by said
county commissioners under the Act of the General As-
sembly of Maryland, passed at the session of 1886, chap-
ter 239, both of whiicli issues of bonds are now redeem-
able and may be paid by said county commissioners and
to authorize and empower the said county commissioners
to levy and collect the necessary taxes for the payment
of the bonds authorized to be issued and the interest
thereon."
