A bill entitled "An Act to refund to Thomas Moore, of
Calvert county, money paid into the Treasury for dredg-
ing license which was not issued to him."
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finauce.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Peter, from Committee on Elections, reported fav-
o rabi y,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 33, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Elections,' as re-
enacted by chapter 202, of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1896, by adding thereto eleven
additional sections, under the sub-title ‘Corrupt Prac-
tices,' to follow section 151 as now enacted."
Pending further consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford,
Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Thursday, March 15th, at 8.15 P. M.
Mr. Crothers, from Committee on Finance, reported
favorably,
Senat.e bill No. 17, entitled "An Act to accurately re-
establish the boundary line between the State of Mary-
land and the State of Pennsylvania, commonly called
Mason and Dixon's Line, and to re-mark the same wher-
ever necessary with suitable monuments and to make ap-
propriation therefor."
AMENDMENTs PROPOSED.
In line 4 of the title of the original bill, strike out the
words "and to make appropriation therefor."
Also,
Strike out all of section 4 of original bill.
Also,
In next to the last line of original bill strike out the
figure "5” and insert "4."
