Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford, it was
Ordered, That the Comptroller be requested to furnish
forthwith for the use of the Senate a list of all employees
of the Senate of 1898, their positions and compensation
and likewise a list of the employees of the Senate of
1894-96, and that the Secretary of the Senate be directed
to prepare forthwith for the use of the Senate of the
present session with thedates upon which they were re-
spectively appointed, and that when said lists are furn-
ished, that they be forthwith spread upon the Journal.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

A bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Prince George county to con-
struct a public county road upon aud along Washington
turnpike road between Laurel and line of District of
Columbia, to borrow money on the credit of said county
for the construction of said road and issue coupon bonds
therefor; and to levy and collect on and from the assess-
able property of said county an annual tax sufficient to
pay said bonds when they mature and the interest there-
on as it becomes due."
Which was read the first time and referred to Sena-
tors Peter, Williams, of Anne Arundel, and Gray.
Also,
A bill entitled "An Act to add an additional section to
section 44, of Article 14, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title ‘Howard County,' sub-title ‘County Commis-
sioners and County Collectors,' to be known and desig-
nated as ‘Section 44 F."
