Strike out in section 1, after the word "it” on 15th line
all the remainder of the section and add the following:
"The home office or place of business shall be located
in the city of Baltimore."

Amend by, adding at the end of section 11, the fol-
lowing:
"Provided, that said corporation shall be subject at all
times to the provisions of the Acts of 1892, chapters 109

Mr. Applegarth presented a petition from Samuel M.
Simmons and 50 others, praying for authority to County
Commissioners to construct a bridge over Narrow's
Ferry, Dorchester county.

Brewiugton and Messick.
Mr. Bouic presented a petition and resolution asking
the Legislators to grant to Johns Hopkins University the
sum of $50,000.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.
