Also, favorably, Senate bill No. 191, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Fuel Company of Maryland, and define its rights and powers." Which was read the second time. On motion of Mr. Putzel, Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Corpo- rations. Also favorably, with proposed amendment, Senate bill No. 187, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Farmers' Banking and Trust Company of Montgom- ery county." AMENDMENT PROPOSED. In section 15, after the word "pleasure," at the end of said section, add the following "Provided, that said corporation shall be subject at all times to the provisions of the Acts of 1892, chapters 109 and 279, or amendments or supplements thereto." Which proposed amendment was adopted. FURTHER AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. By Mr. Boule, In sectlon 1, line 9, strike oat "impleded” and insert "impleaded." In section 3, line 12 strike out "40 per cent." and in- sert "said 500 shares." After the word "subscribed," in section 3, line 12, and before the word "until,' on said line, insert "or if 40 cent. of said stock be not yet paid in." |
