660 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 14 oysters with tongs may apply to the Clerk of the county of which he is a resident, for a license to take oysters in Chesapeake bay or Potomac river during the time al- lowed by the general oyster law, and such license shall be good for the entire oyster season, To Senate bill No. 140, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 83, of Article 10, of the Code of Public GeueralfLaws, title ‘St-. Mary's county,' sub-title ‘Oysters,' Which motion prevailed, and On motion of Mr. Wilkinson. The Senate non-concurred in said amendments. Mr. Wilkinson submit-ted the following message: BY THE SENATE, March 14th, 1900W Gentlemen of the House of Delegates The Senate having refused to concur in amendments proposed by the House to the Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 83 of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘St. Mary's County,' sub-title ‘Oysters,' we respectfully pro- pose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body, the appointment of a Joint Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses, and herewith re- turn said bill. We have named as conferees on the part of the Senate Messrs. Wilkinson and Applegarth. By order, ALFRED RITTER, Secretary. Which was read, assented to and sent to the House of Delegates. The President distributed the following message from the House of Delegates: House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the town of Barton, Allegany county, Maryland." Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays." |
