ORDER OF THE DAY.
The hour of 1.30 P. M. having arrived,
The Senate considered the Order of the 1)ay, being
Senate bill No. 88, entitled "An Act to prohibit per-
sons or corporations from compelling their employees to
withdraw from membership in labor organizations."
Pending further consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Peter,
Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Wednesday, March 14th, at 12.45 P. M.


REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Wilkinson, from Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 73 and 74, of Article 19, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title ‘St. Mary's County,' sub-title
‘Leonardtown.'"
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also favorably, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 2, of Article [9, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title ‘St. Mary's County,' sub-title
‘Almshouse.'"
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out all after the word "it," in line 6, down to
and inclusive of the word "that," in line 9, and insert the
words "and the."
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and
The bill was read the second titne and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
