Committee on Judicial Proceedings,

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

By Mr. Moses,
At the end of section 8, after the word "fit," add the
follbwing:
"Provided, however, that the powers herein conferred
shall be subject to the provisions of the Act of 1898,
chapter 123, known as the ‘New Charter of Baltimore
City,' and the ordinances of the Mayor and City Council,
passed in pursuance thereof."

By Mr. Williams, of Harford,
At the end of the amendment offered by Senator Moses,
add "and subject also, to the provisions of the charter
and ordinances of any other cities or towns in this State
