A bill entitled "An Act to provide for teaching the
study of Physiology and Hygiene, with special instruc-
tion as to the nature and effect of alcoholic drinks, stimu-
lants and narcotics upon the human system, in the public
schools of the State and educational institutions receiv-
ing aid from the State, so as to read as follows."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Education.

By Mr. Boiiic,
A bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of twen-
ty-one thousand four hundred and forty dollars and fifty-
six cents, and to refund the same to the appropriation
for the contingent and necessary expenses of the Adju-
tant General's office, and for the maintainance, equipment
and discipline of the land forces of the Militia for the
fiscal year, ending September 30th, 1900."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

A bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter, and en-
large the powers of the Maryland Telephone and Tele-
graph Company, of Baltimore city."

of Public General Laws, title ‘Crimes and Punishments,'
sub-title ‘Health,' by adding thereto 3 additional sections
to follow section 147 C, to be numbered ‘Sections 147 D,
147 B and 147 F,' respectively, and to be preceded by the
heading ‘Second Hand Bottles or Jars."

the sidewalks, pavements or alleys of the 1st and 3rd
