OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE.

March 8th, 1900.
The following Acts of the Gelleral Assembly of Mary-
land, originating in the Senate, were presented to the
Governor for his approval this day at 10.00 o'clock,
A. M.
"An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments sec-
tion 184 J, of Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title ‘Anne Arundel County,' as said section was re-en-
acted by chapter 598, of the Acts of 1892."
"An Act to add a new section to Article 2, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel county, sub-title
‘Annapolis City,' to be numbered section 86, relating to
the encouragement of manufacturers in said city."
"An Act to repeal chapter 614, passed at January Ses-
sion of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1894."
"An Act to repeal sectidn 65, of Article 2, of the Code
of Public Loéal Laws, title ‘Dorchester County,' sub-title
‘Cambridge,' and to re-enact the same with amendments,
and to add to said section a sub-section, to be designated
‘Sub-section A to section 65."
"An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, sec-
tion 2, of chapter 36, of' the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, passed at the January Session 1898, re-
lating to the creation of a new Election District in Gar-
rett county."
"An Act to enlarge and confirm the powers and author-
ity of ‘Mt. St. Joseph's College of Baltimore County,' in-
corporated under the general provisions of the 26th Art-
icle of the Code by the Circuit Court for Baltimore
county, under the corporate name of St. Joseph's College
of Baltimore county, and which is on record in the clerk's
office of said Court, of date October 6, 1876, and recorded
in Liber J. B,, No. 1, folio 130, etc., one of the incorpora-
tion records of Baltimore county, and also an amended
incorporation under the general provisions of the 26th
Article of the Code by said Court, by which amendment
said corporate name was changed to Mt. St. Joseph's
College of Baltimore county, and which is also on record
in the clerk's office of said Court of date June 9, 1881,
and recorded in Liber J. B., No. 1, folio 297, etc., one of
the incorporation records of Baltimore county."
