House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
School Commissioners of Dorchester county, to establish
a high school in the town of Hurlock, in said county, and
to provide for an annual appropriation to be made by
the State of a sum of money to aid in the support and
maintenance thereof."
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to take away the remedy of
distress for ground rents in Baltimore city and Baltimore
county i.n certain cases."
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read tire first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
Also,
House bill entitled "An Act to grant and declare the
sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, to the conveyance by Geo. Peter arId Laura' M.
Peter, his wife, to the Vestry df Silver Springs Parish
in Montgomery county, to a certain lot of land in tire
town of Kensington” in said county, and to the holding
of said lot by the said Vestry of Silver Spring Parish, in
Montgomery county, in fee-simple, with ‘full power to
dispose of the same."

mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
