576 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 8 BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, March 7th, 1900. eentlemen of the Senate: We have received your message, proposing the ap- pointment of a Joint Committee of conference on the disagreeing votes of the two houses on the bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 261, 262 C, 262 K, 262 N, 262 Q, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Harford County,' sub-title ‘Taxes' as enacted by the Act 1898, chapter 204, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and respectfully inform you that we concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the House Messrs. Foster, Kimble and Pattison." By order, B. L. SMITH, Chief Clerk. WThich was read. Also, House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the practice of the profession of public accountants in the State of Mary- land." Endorsed: "Readthethirdtime and passed by yeas and nays." Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Judicial Proceedings. Also, House bill enlitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 508, of Article 4, title ‘City of Bal- timore,' of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, sth-title ‘Tenement and Lodging Houses.'" Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays." Which was read the first time and referred to Senators Bryan, Moses and Putzel. Also, House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the proper and effectual service of gas in that portion of the city of Baltimore heretofore known as The Annex." Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. |
