By Mr. Williams, of Harford, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 702 of the Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 217 of Article 83, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Corporations' sub-title 'Reli- gious Corporations,' and to add an additional section thereto, to he numbered ‘Section 217 A.' Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Judicial Proceedings. By Mr. Baker, A bill entitled "An Act to authorize the clerk of the Circuit Court of Kent county, Maryland, to copy the General Index for deeds and mortgages, and to arrange said index under a different system into a new and sub- stantial book from the year 1842 to 1884, inclusive; to make a general index for chattel mortgages and bills of sale from the year 1880 to 1900, inclusive; to make a general index for magistrates' judgments from the year 1800 to 1900, inclusive; to make a general index for mar- riage licenses from the year 1800 to 1900. inclusive; to make a general index for all equity proceedings, and to have Chancery Docket D.
