On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford, Said resolution was recommitted to the Committee on Agriculture. The following resolution, Resolved, That the Legislature of the State of Mary- land, heartily approving this movement, hereby directs the State Librarian to donate to the Winnie Davis School of History a copy of each and every historiiai publication issued by authority of the State of Maryland. Being on its third reading, On motion of Mr. Bouic, Said resolution was ordered to be engrossed. The Secretary of State appeared and delivered a mes- sage from the Executive. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and re- turned Senate bill No. 153, entitled "An Act to add an addi- tional section to Article 51, of the Code of Public Gen- eral Laws of Maryland, entitled ‘Juries,' to be known as ‘Section 23,' and to follow section 22." Endorsed: "Rules suspended by yeas and nays, amend- ed, read the third time and passed by yeas and nays." AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. 1 Strike out in line 6, the "figures 23" after the word "section” and insert in lieu thereof the "figures 22." 2 Add the following additional section to be known as ‘Section 2." and to follow section 1. Section 2, And be it enacted, that this Act take effect from date of its passage. On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford, The Senate concurred severally with proposed amend- ments, and the bill as amended, was passed by yeas and nays as follows: |
