REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.

Mr. Dennis, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 201, of
the Public Local Laws, Article 20, title ‘Somerset County,'
sub-title ‘Princess Anne,' as amended by section 201,
of chapter 542 of the laws of Maryland, passed by the
General Assembly of Maryland, at the January session
of the year 1894, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments."

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Wilkinson, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 105, of Article 19, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title ‘St. Mary's County,' sub-title
Sheriff,' as the same was repealed and re-enacted by
chapter 64, of the Acts of 1896."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, from Select Committee,
reported favorably,

Senate billentitled "An Act to provide for the perma-
nent improvement of the public road from Camp Parole
to South river bridge, in Anne Arundel county."

Which was, read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Bouic, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 5, Article
16, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
‘Montgomery County,' sub-title ‘Circuit Court,' and to re-
enact the same with amendments."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct
the County Commissioners of Montgomery county to
levy a sum of money to refund to the heirs of Jacob
Young, deceased, late of said county, certain taxes erron-
eously paid by them."
