By Mr. Brewington, A bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges, en- large the powers, and amend the charter of the Sharps- town Marine Railway Company of Sharp stown, Wicomico county, Maryland, a corporation duly incorporated under the General Laws of this State." Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Corporations. Also, A bill entitled "An Act to amend section 9, of Article 5, of the Constitution of the State, and to provide for the snhmission of said amendment to the qualified voters of this State for adoption or rejection." Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Constitutional Amendments. By Mr. Baker, A bill entitled "An Act to sanction the bequest of the sum of five hundred dollars to the Vestry of Shrews- bury Parish, in Kent county, Maryland, by Ann Louisa Armstrong, late of Kent county." Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Judicial Proceedings. By Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enhet with amendments section 24, of the charter of the Baltimore and Southern Railroad Company, as the same was en- acted by the Act of 1896, chapter 271, so as to extend the time for the completion of said railroad." |
