INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Peter (by request),

A bill entitled "An Act to create a Board of County
Road Commissibners for Prince George's county, Mary-
land, who shall hove charge of all public roads and
bridges of said county; to provide for the maintenance of
same; and to repeal sections 278, 278 A, to 290, both in-
clusive, title ‘Roads,' of Article 17, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title ‘Prince George's County,' sections 1, 2,
13, 19, 20; 21, 22, 23 and 24, of Article 25, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title ‘County Commissioners;' and
all other laws so far as the said sections and laws may be
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act."

Which was read the first time, and referred to Sen-
ators Peter, Williams, of Anne Arundel, and Marsh.

Also,

A bill entitled "An Act to incorporate ‘The Calvert
Banking and Deposit Company.'"

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

By Mr. Brewington,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 152 of Article
23, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
‘Wicomico County,' sub-title ‘Salisbury,' and to re-enact
the same with amendments."

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Brewington, Moore and Applegarth.

Also,

A bil] entitled "An Act to provide for an extra levy by
the Mayor and Council of Salisbury, in Wicomico county,
for the purpose of refunding taxes erroneously paid on
tax levies for the years 1897 and 1898, and to pay the in-
debtedness of the Mayor and Council of Salisbury in-
curred by reason of the inability to collect the illegal
levies of the said years 1896 and 1897, and to be desig-
nated as ‘Section 158 A,' of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title ‘Wicomico County,' sub-title
‘Salisbury,' and to follow section 158 of Article 23.'

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Brewington, Moore and Applegarth.
