Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 423, of Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick county, sub-title ‘Roads.' Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Kirwan, Applegarth, Marsh, Baker, Messick, Brewington, Moses, Crothers, Putzel, Dennis, Ravenscroft, Dick, Rohrback. Dodson, Williams, of Har., Gray, Williams, of A. A. —18. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the selling of corn, hay, straw, fodder and potatoes in Annapolis city by weight, and to establish scales therefor." On motion of Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, Was recommitted to Select Committee. PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS, Mr. Bryan presented a petition from Thomas G. Hayes Mayor of Baltimore city, and 100 others requesting the passage of the bill for the payment of all liquor license fees in Baltimore city, into the Baltimore city treasury. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. |
