Joint Resolution introduced in the Senate on February
1st inst., commending the course of the present Members
of the House of Representatives from Maryland, in sup-
porting the measure commonly known as the "Act to
establish and fix gold as the unit of value in the United
States, and requesting the members from Maryland to
use their best efforts to hasten the passage of said Act
in the Senate.

County Commissioners of Frederick county, Maryland, to
provide fqr free scholarships to students of Frederick
county in the Buckeystown Normal School in said
county."
