NEGATIVE—None.
Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, from Select Com-
mittee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the selling
of corn, hay, straw, fodder and potatoes in Annapolis
city by weight, and to establish scales therefor."
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Rohrback, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with proposed amendments,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 423, of
Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Fred-
erick county, sub-title ‘Roads.'
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In title strike ont all after the word "Laws," and add
after the word "Laws," the following, "of Maryland, title
‘Frederick County,' sab-title ‘Roads.'"
Strike out the words "Frederick County," sub-title
"Roads," in the third line of section 1 of the bill, and in-
sert in place thereof the following: "Maryland, Fred-
erick Connty," sub-title "Roads."
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted,
and the bill was read the second time.


ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Harford, it was
Ordered, That the Committee on Federal Relations,
report to the Senate by Tuesday, next, at 1 o'clock, the
