A bill entitled "An Act to regulate electrical wiring in
the State of Maryland and to prevent incompetent per-
sons from engaging therein, and to provide for the ap-
pointment of commssion to supervise and enforce the
provisions hereof."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

By Mr. Crothers,
A bill entitled "An Act to incorporateithe Eder Public
Park Association of Elkton, Maryland."
Which was read the first time, and referred to Sen-
ators Crothers, Williams, of Harford, and Williams, of
Anne Arundeh.

By Mr. Peter, (by request,)
A bill entitled "An Act to authorize aud empower the
Mayor and City Council, of Laurel, to borrow money on
the credit of said town for the purpose of constructing
water works for said town, do necessary drainage, and
purchase, construct or erect an electric lighting and
power plant, to issue bonds for the payment of the same
and to levy taxes on the assessable property of said town
to redeem the said bonds and pay the interest thereon.'

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Peter, Bouic and Wilkinson.

Mr. Peter (by request),
A bill entitled "An Act to regulate business and trade
in cities having a population of ten thousand or over, de-
claring it unlawful and making it a misdemeanor to tran-
sact business in violation; providing for the appointment
of license commissioners in such cities prescribing their
powers, defining their duties and fixing their compensa-
tion."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.
